Team Lead (Backend Development) – Pivony

About the Role As a Team Lead, you will:
- Lead and mentor a team of junior developers, guiding them through technical challenges and career growth.
- Own the backend development of Pivony’s platform, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Drive product development from ideation to delivery, working closely with cross-functional teams to meet customer needs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Ensure delivery timelines are met while maintaining code quality and best practices.
Technical Requirements Proven expertise in:
- Python programming with deep knowledge of frameworks such as Django and FastAPI.
- Relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Amazon Web Services (AWS), including services like EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS.
- Data structures and algorithms, with a focus on building efficient and scalable systems.
- Data security best practices to protect sensitive information and ensure platform integrity.
What We're Looking For
- Experience leading or mentoring developers in a startup or agile environment.
- Strong understanding of API design, cloud infrastructure, and database management.
- A track record of delivering complex projects on time with a focus on quality and user experience.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
